Gerald Coillot Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Seventh Street [Victorville, CA]

Authorities Identity 66-Year-Old Man Killed in Victorville Pedestrian Crash

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (May 25, 2021) – Gerald Eli Coillot was killed in a pedestrian accident in Victorville late Monday evening, May 24.
 
The accident happened around 11:01 p.m. at the intersection of Seventh Street and Victor Street. According to the Victorville Police Department, the 66-year-old man was standing in the roadway when a vehicle traveling south on Seventh Street struck him.
 
Deputies arrived and located Coillot lying on the roadway with major injuries. Paramedics attempted saving him, but he died at the scene.
 
The driver of the involved vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
Officers closed Seventh Street, between Victor Street and Desert Knolls Street, for several hours while they documented the accident.
