Police pursuit in Huntington Park Ends in Crash on Randolph Street Injuring 5 People

 
HUNTINGTON PARK, CA (April 27, 2023) – Five people, including three children, were injured after a police pursuit ended in a crash at Randolph Street and Boyle Avenue on Tuesday morning.
 
Around 7:00 a.m. on April 25, a suspect in a stolen pickup truck fled from sheriff’s deputies, leading to a chase. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the pursuit ended when the pickup truck crashed into a sedan.
 
Both vehicles were significantly damaged from the crash. The sedan ended up on the sidewalk after the impact.
 
Three girls and two women were injured in the crash. Video from AIR7 HD showed them sitting on a curb, speaking to deputies. None of them appeared to be severely injured.
 
The driver of the stolen vehicle was later taken into custody.
 
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
