Evelyn Solis Killed in 7-Car Accident near East Olympic Boulevard [East Los Angeles, CA]

7-Car Crash in East LA Kills 21-Year-Old Passenger

 
EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (January 4, 2024) – Evelyn Ortega Solis was killed in a seven-car accident in East Los Angeles early Tuesday morning on December 26.
 
The fatal accident happened around 12:30 a.m. near East Olympic Boulevard and South Vancouver Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a total of seven cars collided for unknown reasons. Two of the vehicles were in motion at the time of the crash while the rest were parked along the street.
 
One vehicle overturned and another ended up on top of a car.
 
The coroner’s office identified Solis as the deceased passenger. She was 21 years old.
 
The male adult driver of the car carrying Solis was arrested. He and the driver of the other vehicle only sustained minor injuries.
 
Details about what led to the crash were not immediately available. Further investigation is underway.
