UPDATE: Emmanuel Adeleke, Destiny Hernandez Killed in Accident on 57 Freeway [Anaheim, CA]

Car Accident on Orange Freeway in Anaheim, Destiny Hernandez and Emmanuel Adeleke Identified

 
ANAHEIM, CA (November 4, 2021) – One person was killed in a traffic accident on 57 Freeway in Anaheim early Saturday morning, October 30.
 
The accident happened around 2:45 a.m. at the Lincoln Avenue off-ramp. However, CHP officials did not provide details of how the crash occurred or how many vehicles were involved.
 
A representative from the coroner’s office responded at 3:17 a.m. A passenger in one of the cars – identified as 22-year-old Destiny Hernandez of Anaheim – died at the scene. A driver – 24-year-old Emmanuel Adeleke of Santa Ana – died at UCI Medical Center, the coroner’s office said. However, it is unclear if both victims were in the same car.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
