52-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car in Palm Desert

 
PALM DESERT, CA (March 20, 2024) – Dustin Brihim was hit and killed by a car in Palm Desert Friday evening on March 15.
 
The fatal crash happened on 10 Freeway, just east of Washington Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, a car was traveling west on the freeway when it struck Brihim who was in the roadway.
 
The impact caused Brihim fatal injuries and he died at the scene. He was 52 years old of Palm Desert, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the car stayed on scene and cooperated with officers.
 
No arrest was made and the investigating officer is still contacting witnesses of the crash.
