Suspect Sought in Winnetka Hit-and-Run Crash near Corbin Avenue

 
WINNETKA, CA (July 7, 2022) — Police are seeking a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident near Corbin Avenue and Hart Street early Tuesday.
 
According to reports, the hit-and-run accident happened around 12:30 a.m. A man who remains unidentified driving a black Mercedes crashed into another car making a U-turn on Corbin Avenue. Subsequently, the suspect fled from the scene, but lost control of the Mercedes and crashed into a residential property.
 
Per reports, the suspect drove through the gate of the home and crashed into a parked car and a garage.
 
Moments after the final crash, the homeowner – identified as Adam Hunter – confronted the suspect who fled the scene on foot seconds later.
 
At this time, investigators need the public’s help in locating the driver involved in this hit-and-run. If anyone has more information, please call the Los Angeles Police.
