Swimmer Struck by Boat, Injured in Tomales Bay in Marin County

 
MARIN COUNTY, CA (July 7, 2022) — A swimmer hit by a boat was injured in Tomales Bay near Marconi on Monday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. As soon as Marin County Fire Department, Tomales Fire and National Parks received word of the news, they responded to Tomales Bay.
 
Upon arriving, firefighters performed CPR on the swimmer and were able to regain his pulse. Subsequently, paramedics brought the victim to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital where nurses and medical staff treated him for his critical injuries.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the leading cause of the accident. However, any witnesses who can help the authorities with this case can call the CHP.
