Woman Dead, 9 Kids Injured after Bakersfield Rollover Accident on Alfred Harrell Highway

 
OCEANSIDE, CA (February 9, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person was killed in a rollover accident on Alfred Harrell Highway on Saturday January 16.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just east of Fairfax Road at approximately 4:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the driver of a Ford Expedition lost control of the vehicle. Subsequently, it rolled over several times in the lanes.
 
As a result, the 24-year-old female driver died in the incident. Officials did not yet release her name pending kin notification.
 
Nine children in the vehicle, ranging in ages from 5 month to 15 years old, suffered minor injuries. As a result, crews transported the victims to hospitals for treatment and further evaluation.
 
At this point, the cause of the rollover accident on Alfred Harrell Highway is still under investigation.
