Driver Dies in 3-Car Crash on Huntwood Avenue in Hayward

 
HAYWARD, CA (September 18, 2023) — A driver died in a 3-car accident on Huntwood Avenue near Schaefer Road.
 
According to Hayward Police, the fatal multi-car crash happened Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, three vehicles collided around 12:47 a.m. in the 27000 block of Huntwood Avenue.
 
The driver of one of the vehicles reportedly left the scene and abandoned the vehicle not far from the crash site.
 
Soon after, police officers arrived and found one driver uninjured and a passenger in the other car unharmed. However, the second car’s driver suffered fatal wounds.
