Rider Dies after Colliding with Another Vehicle in Pacifica

 
PACIFICA, CA (May 30, 2022) – Donald Schlieve was killed in a motorcycle accident in Pacifica Saturday morning on May 28.
 
The accident happened around 10:51 a.m. at Linda Mar Boulevard and Alicante Drive. According to the Pacifica Police Department, Schlieve was riding his motorcycle when he collided with another vehicle.
 
The impact caused Schlieve significant injuries. Paramedics rushed him to a local hospital where he later died. He was a 78-year-old Pacifica resident, according to the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office.
 
Police said the driver involved in the crash stopped at the scene. There was no immediate indication that either the driver or rider were impaired by drugs or alcohol.
