SANTA ROSA VALLEY, CA (November 16, 2021) — A deputy was injured in a 2-car accident on Santa Rosa Road at Yucca Drive.
 
According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 1:30 p.m. Upon responding to a 911 call, a deputy pulled to the side of the road in her Chevrolet Tahoe. There, a sports utility vehicle boring the colors of a patrol car struck her Tahoe SUV.
 
According to reports, the driver of the vehicle fled on foot but had been captured since. Shortly after the crash, paramedics transported the deputy to a hospital after complaints of pain.
