UPDATE: David Santiago Hit, Killed by Car on Highway 180 [Fresno County, CA]

19-Year-Old David Santiago Killed in Fresno County Pedestrian Accident

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (May 11, 2021) — A man was hit and killed by a car on Highway 180 near Fowler Avenue on Wednesday, May 5.
 
The man killed was 19-year-old David Cordova Santiago, according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office. His city of residence is unknown at this time.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 19-year-old was in the back seat of a truck that had pulled over. After that, the teen exited out of the vehicle where an oncoming car driven by a 39-year-old male driver struck him.
 
As a result, Santiago died at the scene. Loved ones set up a GoFundMe for the surviving family.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota Corolla stayed at the scene and cooperated with police questioning.
