Doug Allmon Hurt, Joshua Ramage Arrested in Hit-and-Run Bicycle Accident on Stockdale Highway near California Avenue

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 6, 2021) Doug Allmon was injured in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on Stockdale Highway near California Avenue.
 
According to officers, 41-year-old Joshua Ramage struck Allmon and another cyclist around 9:15 p.m. Saturday. Soon after, paramedics transported Allmon, a West High School graduate, and the other victim to a hospital for treatment.
 
According to news reports, one of them suffered non-life-threatening injuries and the other suffered critical injuries. Although, authorities have not released an update on their condition.
 
Following the investigation, officers arrested Ramage on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run. However, the crash remains under examination by Bakersfield Police.
