Darryl Thompson Hurt in Deadly Two-Car Crash on Highway 99 near Avenue 184

 
VISALIA, CA (August 31, 2021) — Darryl Thompson suffered minor injuries in a fatal two-car accident on Highway 99 near Avenue 184.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly two-car crash happened north of Avenue 184. For unknown reasons, a 36-year-old woman driving southbound on the highway at an unknown speed failed to see Thompson’s car driving toward her. Subsequently, her vehicle collided with that of Thompson’s.
 
Due to the nature of the accident and the fact that the woman did not slow down, the woman suffered fatal injuries while Thompson sustained minor injuries.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed if impairment played a factor in the collision. However, any witnesses with more information on this crash should contact the CHP.
