42-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle at North East Street and West Virginia Street

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (July 8, 2022) – Daniel Cardoza was killed in a pedestrian accident in San Bernardino on Monday, July 4.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:01 p.m. at North East Street and West Virginia Street. According to the San Bernardino Police Department, the 42-year-old victim from San Bernardino was walking at the intersection when a vehicle struck him.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and rushed him to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day at 9:13 PM.
 
It is unclear at this time if the involved driver stayed after the crash. It is also unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
