Joaquina Ballina-Peralta Killed in Car Accident on North Pepper Avenue [Rialto, CA]

Passenger Dies after Car Crashes at North Pepper Avenue and East Baseline Road Last Month

 
RIALTO, CA (July 8, 2022) – Joaquina Ballina-Peralta was killed in a car accident in Rialto last month on June 29.
 
The accident happened around 10:39 p.m. at North Pepper Avenue and East Baseline Road. According to the Rialto Police Department, Ballina-Peralta was a passenger of a vehicle that had crashed at the intersection.
 
Paramedics responded and found the victim suffering from significant injuries. They rushed her to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where she died the next day at 11:11 a.m.
 
Ballina-Peralta was a 48-year-old San Bernardino resident, authorities said.
 
The condition of the driver was not immediately known.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
