18-Year-Old Woman Dies in Multi-Vehicle Crash on El Camino Real near Fire Mountain Drive

 
OCEANSIDE, CA (July 25, 2021) – Dalila Jebrail was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in Oceanside late Friday evening, July 23.
 
The accident happened around 11:12 p.m. on northbound El Camino Real near Fire Mountain Drive. According to the Oceanside Police Department, a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder was traveling southbound on El Camino Real when it crossed the center median for unknown reasons. It then hit a fire hydrant and drove into the opposing traffic lanes.
 
The Nissan slammed into a 2010 Jeep Patriol and a 2005 Toyota 4Runner that were heading northbound, causing one to roll over.
 
Jebrial, an 18-year-old passenger in the Nissan, suffered fatal injuries died at the scene.
 
Another person complained of pain but did not require transportation.
 
The driver of the Nissan sustained several injuries and was taken to a hospital. Police suspect that he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
 
An investigation is ongoing.
