Two CHP Motorcycles Collide at Third and Stillman Streets Injuring One Officer

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 1, 2023) – A CHP officer was injured in a motorcycle accident at Third Street and Stillman Street in San Francisco on Saturday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:20 p.m. on April 29. According to the California Highway Patrol, two CHP motorcycles collided in unclear circumstances.
 
One CHP officer fell off his motorcycle and suffered unspecified injuries. He was lying on the ground for about 30 minutes as other officers were tending to him. He was then taken to San Francisco General Hospital for proper treatment.
 
It is unknown if the officer in the other involved motorcycle was injured.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
