Bryan Tostado Detained, Driver Killed in Semi-Truck Crash on 91 Freeway near Susana Road

 
LONG BEACH, CA (June 6, 2022) — Bryan Tostado was arrested in a fatal big rig crash on the 91 Freeway near Susana Road on Sunday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly big rig accident happened around 1:10 a.m. Traveling at high speeds, 25-year-old Tostado, of Norwalk, crashed his 2004 Toyota from the No. 1 lane into the center divider.
 
As a result of the impact, the Toyota subsequently rear-ended a 2022 Freightliner. That caused the big rig to lose control of the rig, which consequently left the roadway.
 
Responding emergency personnel arrived soon after and found the big rig driver with fatal injuries, pronouncing the individual deceased at 1:38 a.m.
 
As for Tostado, paramedics brought him to Dignity Health-St. Mary Medical Center with minor injuries and police later arrested him on unknown charges.
