James Saunders Dies, 3 Hurt in Multi-Car Crash on 15 Freeway near Dos Lagos Drive

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (May 3, 2024) — James Saunders died in a multi-car accident on the 15 Freeway near Dos Lagos Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle collision happened around 3:25 a.m. Saturday. Under unclear circumstances, several vehicles crashed on the 15 Freeway, a quarter mile south of Dos Lagos Drive. Subsequently, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department responded and confirmed 60-year-old Saunders deceased at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics ushered three people to hospitals with minor to moderate injuries while crews investigated.
