Motorcyclist Dies after Fiery Crash with SUV at Washington Avenue and Alexandra Drive

 
MURRIETA, CA (March 15, 2021)Brandon Colletti, 29, of Murrieta died in a fiery crash on March 7.
 
Colletti died at 1:10 p.m., about 20 minutes after the crash involving his motorcycle and an SUV, the Riverside County Coroner’s Office said. He is survived by a wife and four children, ages 7, 4 and 1-year-old twins.
 
The Murrieta Police Department said the accident happened around 12:48 p.m. at Washington Avenue and Alexandra Drive.
 
Firefighters arrived to find Colletti unresponsive. They rushed him to Inland Valley Hospital, where he later died.
 
His motorcycle caught fire after the crash. No information about the SUV and the driver.
 
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Colletti’s funeral expenses.
 
It is unknown if intoxication or distracted driving played a role in the crash. Police ask anyone with information about the case to call traffic investigator Jared Matthews at 951-461-6878.
