Boy Injured in Hit-and-Run on Latimer Avenue [Modesto, CA]

6-Year-Old Hurt after Hit-and-Run on Latimer Avenue near Fallen Leaf Lane in Modesto

 
MODESTO, CA (May 20, 2022) – A 6-year-old boy sustained injuries in a hit-and-run collision on Latimer Avenue on Friday evening, May 6.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a pickup truck hit the child near Fallen Leaf Lane.
 
Emergency crews later transported the child to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
 
However, the pickup truck driver drove away and did not stop to render aid.
 
Investigators described the suspect vehicle as a silver Toyota Tacoma with black rims, and possibly, a missing front grill.

Do not leave the scene of a pedestrian accident. Pull your vehicle to the side of the road and render aid to injured victims. Also, immediately call for medical help if anyone sustained serious injuries.
