Bicyclist Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Vehicle on College Oak Drive in North Highlands

 
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (November 13, 2022) – A bicyclist died in a hit-and-run crash at College Oak Drive and Winding Way on Thursday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 9:36 p.m. on November 10. According to the Sacramento County Fire Department, the victim was riding a bicycle when a vehicle struck them.
 
After striking the victim, the driver of the vehicle drove way without rendering aid.
 
The bicyclist suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Coroner’s officials withheld the victim’s identity at this time.
 
Authorities are still investigating the fatality and searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
