Barry McGrath Dies in San Francisco Hit-and-Run Uber Crash on Lincoln Way at 46th Avenue

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (January 31, 2022)Barry McGrath died in a hit-and-run Uber accident on Lincoln Way at 46th Avenue on Saturday evening.
 
According to San Francisco police, the fatal hit-and-run occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a stolen black Audi SUV collided with a red Honda SUV at the intersection.
 
As a result of the accident, two people in the Honda suffered major injuries, including one with life-threatening wounds.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene and transported the male passenger of the Honda — which had been used as an Uber service car at the time — to San Francisco General Hospital.
 
However, despite having received life-saving efforts, the victim died at the hospital. Reports confirmed the victim as 38-year-old McGrath.
 
At this time, officers need the public’s help in identifying the hit-and-run driver of the Audi. Per witnesses, the driver may be approximately 45 years old and possibly over six feet tall with a bald head.
