Minor Injuries Reported in Rollover 2-Car Crash near Skyway in Chico

 
CHICO, CA (March 25, 2024) — At least one person was injured in a rollover 2-car accident near Skyway and Highway 99.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened Friday. While two cars were merging from Skyway to northbound Highway 99, one of the cars, a white Ford, crossed into the center divider to pass a car in the fast lane. However, the Ford lost control in the gravel, returning into the fast lane. From there, the Ford struck a GMC Yukon, causing it to roll over several times.
 
Shortly thereafter, emergency personnel arrived and found at least one person with minor injuries. Authorities did not offer any more information on this crash. However, if anyone has additional insight, please call the CHP.
