Major Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 20 in Lucerne

 
LUCERNE, CA (January 11, 2024) — At least one person was injured in a multi-car accident on Highway 20 near Cora Drive.
 
According to a California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle collision happened around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a vehicle, described as a Chevy Suburban SUV, struck the rear of a big rig towing a crane. Subsequently, another car, described as a red Jeep, also collided with one of the involved vehicles.
 
Shortly after, First Responders arrived and extricated one person from the wreckage. Reports said the two passenger vehicles sustained major front-end damage and the big rig, parked on the side of the road, was deemed undriveable.
 
According to reports, authorities reported at least one person with major injuries.
