Angela Taylor Dies in Lake Elsinore Pedestrian Accident on Highway 74

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (March 3, 2022) — A woman died in a pedestrian crash on Highway 74 near Hammack Avenue on Monday night.
 
Police identified the victim as 26-year-old Menifee resident Angela Taylor, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, Taylor was crossing the highway at around 7:20 p.m., about 1,000 feet west of Hammack Avenue. She was hit on the westbound side by a 46-year-old Perris man driving a 2010 Honda Civic
 
The woman stepped “directly in front of” the car that was traveling at approximately 45 mph, the CHP said.
 
The driver immediately pulled over and called 911, the CHP reported.
 
Taylor died at the scene.
