94-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized in Redondo Beach Pedestrian Crash on Knob Hill Avenue

 
REDONDO BEACH, CA (April 19, 2022) — A 94-year-old woman was injured in a pedestrian accident on Knob Hill Avenue at Camino Real on Sunday.
 
According to the Redondo Beach police, the pedestrian crash took place around 10:00 a.m. For unknown reasons, an SUV driver that veered right from Camino Real onto Knob Hill Avenue struck the elderly woman who had just entered the crosswalk. Subsequently, the vehicle ran over the woman, causing her critical injuries.
 
Immediately after, the driver pulled over and found the woman underneath the vehicle. Soon after, paramedics responded and brought the victim to a hospital for treatment.
