8 Hospitalized After Stolen Car Chased by Cops Crashes at Jackson Avenue in Murrieta

 
MURRIETA, CA (March 6, 2024) — Eight people were injured after a stolen car crashed into multiple cars during a police chase at Jackson Avenue and Nutmeg Street.
 
According to Murrieta police officers, the multi-car crash occurred around 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Upon spotting a stolen vehicle, Murrieta police began pursuing the driver. However, a chase unfolded until the driver ran a red light and crashed into three other vehicles at the Nutmeg Street and Jackson Avenue intersection.
 
Soon after, paramedics arrived and freed two people trapped in one of the vehicles. Of the eight injured in this crash, the male driver fleeing from police and his female passengers suffered the most severe injuries.
