78-Year-Old Pedestrian Injured in Accident on Soscol Avenue at Lincoln Avenue in Napa
NAPA, CA (March 15, 2022) – A 78-year-old man suffered critical injuries in a pedestrian accident on Soscol Avenue on March 8.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Lincoln Avenue around 6:50 PM.
Based on a report, the pedestrian was crossing Soscol at the time of the crash. At the same time, a Toyota Sienna minivan was headed north on the roadway. Due to unknown reasons, the minivan struck the victim.
As a result, the elderly man suffered injuries in the incident. Emergency crews, using an American Medical Response ambulance, transported the victim to a hospital in critical condition.
In the end, Napa Police officers said drugs or alcohol did not appear to be factors in the collision. Also, an investigation is still ongoing.
