75-year-old David Oliver Dead, Sandra Oliver Involved in Pedestrian Crash on Myrtle Street near Highway 36

 
PLUMAS COUNTY, CA (January 2, 2023) David Oliver died in a pedestrian accident on Myrtle Street near Highway 36.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol Susanville office, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, 72-year-old Sandra Oliver struck 75-year-old David Oliver with her 2021 RAM pickup.
 
Sandra escaped the accident with no injuries. However, Oliver suffered significant wounds and died soon after.
 
In the investigation, CHP officers determined that impairment did not play a factor. Although no arrests were made, authorities plan to look into the crash more closely. If anyone has more information on this fatal pedestrian accident, please call the CHP.
