WESTLAKE, CA (June 5, 2023) – Five people were injured, three critically, in a three-vehicle accident on North Alvarado Street in the Westlake area Friday afternoon.
 
Around 2:45 p.m. on June 2, three vehicles collided in the 100 block of North Alvarado Street in unclear circumstances.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, five people including an 8-year-old boy were injured in the crash. Three of the patients were in critical condition.
 
One person fled the scene and one declined transport to a hospital.
 
No further details were immediately available. The exact cause of the scene is still under investigation.
