5 Hurt, Driver Crashes Into Parked Car, Building on Foothill Boulevard in Oakland

 
OAKLAND, CA (August 17, 2023) — One of five injured people suffered critical injuries after a car crashed into a parked vehicle and a building on Foothill Boulevard near 64th Avenue.
 
According to Oakland Police officers, the single-car crash happened around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, a driver heading westbound on Foothill Boulevard struck a parked vehicle and a building near Evergreen Cemetery.
 
Shortly after, paramedics arrived and transported two of the five people in the vehicle to a hospital. The three others reportedly arrived at the hospital later on.
 
Of the five hurt, one of them sustained critical injuries. However, the victim’s current condition is unknown.
