3 Hospitalized in Chula Vista Multi-Car Accident on Palomar Street

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (February 19, 2021) — Three people were injured in a multi-car accident on Palomar Street at Santa Olivia Road Wednesday evening.
 
According to the Chula Vista Police, the multi-vehicle crash occurred around 5:20 p.m.
 
For unknown reasons, a driver in a black BMW SUV was speeding westbound on Palomar Street in a lane designated for buses. Subsequently, the BMW struck at least three other cars, including a plumbing van and a sedan.
 
As a result, three people, including the BMW driver, sustained serious injuries. However, neither of the injured sustained life-threatening wounds.
 
At this time, officers have yet to confirm if DUI played a role in the accident. However, if anyone has more information on this crash, please contact the Chula Vista Police.
