2 Die, 2 Injured in Major Bakersfield Car Accident

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 19, 2021) — Two people were killed in a single-car accident on Ming Avenue near H Street.
 
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office identified 33-year-old Daniel Armando Encinas Davalos and 21-year-old Destiny Mariah Munoz as the two victims killed in the crash.
 
According to police, the deadly crash happened around 10:25 p.m. near the Kern County Fairgrounds. Under unclear circumstances, a vehicle struck a wood utility pole. Due to the extreme force of a crash, the car nearly split in half.
 
In the crash, Davalos ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Munoz was also found inside the car and pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Paramedics transported two other men with major injuries to Kern Medical.
