3 Hurt, Catalytic Converter Robbers Crash Car Under Semi-Truck on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 12, 2024) — Three people were injured after a group of catalytic converter thieves crashed a car under a semi-truck on Wilshire Boulevard in Westlake.
 
According to Los Angeles police, the crash happened around 4:00 a.m. Friday. Upon spotting an LAPD officer, a driver in a stolen Dodge Charger sped off. Subsequently, the Dodge Charger crashed, wedging itself underneath a semi-truck.
 
Soon after, paramedics arrived and firefighters freed four occupants from the wrecked vehicle before bringing them to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Following the crash, police arrested the four, linking them to a catalytic converter theft.
