Broadside Crash on Bake Parkway in Lake Forest Leaves 2 Women Dead

 
LAKE FOREST, CA (July 12, 2023) – Two women were killed in a broadside accident at Bake Parkway and Commerce Centre Drive in Lake Forest late Thursday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 11:00 p.m. on July 6. According to the California Highway Patrol, an SUV broadsided another car in unclear circumstances.
 
As a result, the two female occupants in one of the cars both died at the scene. Both were in their 20s. Their identities were withheld at this time.
 
The other vehicle was driven by a woman who sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.
 
The exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
