2 People Hurt, Truck Crashes Into Mobile Home on Olde Highway 80 in El Cajon

 
EL CAJON, CA (April 13, 2022) — Two people were injured after a truck crashed into a mobile home on Olde Highway 80 near Hawley Road on Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 8:00 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver heading westbound on the 8 Freeway lost control. Subsequently, his truck traveled down an embankment and crashed through a chain-link fence before hitting the back of a mobile home.
 
Soon after, emergency personnel arrived at the scene and transported the 30-year-old male driver to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, paramedics treated his 24-year-old passenger who suffered only minor wounds.
 
Fortunately, no one inside the mobile home reported any injuries.
