LOS ANGELES, CA (April 13, 2022) — A woman was hit by two men who robbed her on 8th Street and Francisco Street on Monday.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened around noon. After leaving a jewelry store, a woman noticed two men in a silver Dodge Challenger following her car. As she made her way through the intersection, one man approached her vehicle and shattered her driver-side window with an unknown tool.

Because she was unable to drive away due to heavy traffic, she exited her car and ran westbound on 8th Street to seek help. However, the suspects followed her and struck her to the ground with the Dodge. Subsequently, the woman on the ground threw her watch onto the street and the suspects left.

Soon after, paramedics reached the scene and treated the woman for minor injuries.

At this time, officers need the public’s help in identifying the two suspects involved in this incident. Reports described them as a man about 5 feet 11 inches tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, ski mask and black sweatpants. As for the second suspect, he bore a black sweater and light blue jeans.
