2 Hospitalized in Car Crash at Avenue 48 in Indio

 
INDIO, CA (June 16, 2023) — Two people were injured in a car accident at Avenue 48 near Arabia Street.
 
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the car crash happened around 9:20 a.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, a traffic collision occurred and left two people with injuries.
 
Minutes later, firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department arrived and extricated one person from the wreckage. There were two patients, including one with moderate injuries.
 
Following the accident, paramedics brought the two patients to a nearby hospital for treatment.
 
Officials did not say what led to the accident, but Indio police officers are investigating the crash further.
