MADERA RANCHOS, CA (June 27, 2023) — Two people suffered injuries in a 2-vehicle accident at Avenue 9 and Road 38.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle collision happened Monday morning. For an unknown reason, an eastbound BMW driver struck a John Deere Gator crossing Avenue 9 on a rural dirt road devoid of yield or stop signs.
 
The man on the John Deere Gator was ejected upon impact. That victim sustained major injuries and was brought to a hospital for care.
 
Meanwhile, the BMW driver, whose car wound up crashing through a fence and traveling down an embankment, reported minor injuries.
 
Reports did not specify the leading cause of the crash or where the fault lies. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm more details.
