HYDESVILLE, CA (February 29, 2024) — Two people were injured in a 2-car accident on Highway 36 near A Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened on February 28. Under unclear circumstances, a Toyota Tacoma with a trailer and a Dodge Caravan collided. Soon after, Fortuna Fire and CHP officers responded to the scene, finding one person with a broken arm and another with a broken ankle or leg.
