Driver Extricated after Two-Vehicle Accident on Tracy Avenue near Magnolia Street

 
GARDEN GROVE, CA (November 22, 2021) – Two people sustained injuries following a two-vehicle accident on Tracy Avenue, Tuesday evening.
 
According to the Orange County Fire Authority, the incident happened on November 16, at about 9:52 p.m. Due to unknown circumstances, a car and a small SUV collided at the intersection of Tracy Avenue and Magnolia Street.
 
The impact of the collision trapped both the drivers involved in their vehicles. As per reports, the car sustained major front-end damage and the SUV sustained damage to the driver’s side.
 
Emergency crews arrived and found that the driver of the car had self-extricated. However, the driver of the SUV needed assistance in exiting the wrecked vehicle.
 
Both drivers were transported to UCI Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
 
Officers continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
