Two People Flee Scene after Rollover Accident on Highway 94 near Waite Drive in La Mesa
LA MESA, CA (November 22, 2021) – Three women had to be extricated following a rollover accident on Highway 94, early Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on November 19, at about 1:40 a.m. As per reports, a speeding vehicle collided with another vehicle near College Avenue.
The impact of the collision caused the second vehicle to roll over several times. Then, it came to rest against a tree near an apartment complex on Waite Drive.
Emergency crews extricated a total of three people inside the wrecked vehicle. It is unknown whether the victims sustained injuries in the accident.
Witnesses claim that the speeding vehicle crashed into a nearby bush. However, two occupants reportedly exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident.
