Severe Burns Reported after Winnetka Car Accident on Saticoy Street near Mason Avenue

 
WINNETKA, CA (November 2, 2021) – Two people suffered serious injuries following a car accident on Saticoy Street, Monday afternoon.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident happened on November 1, at about 12:15 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a red vehicle crashed into parked vehicles near Mason Avenue.
 
The impact of the collision caused the vehicle to burst into flames.
 
Emergency crews rushed two people to the hospital for treatment of severe burn injuries. As per reports, the victims remain in critical injuries.
 
The Los Angeles Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
