18-year-old Andres Orozco Dies in High-Speed Crash on Shaw Avenue near Millbrook Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (November 9, 2021) — Andres Orozco died in a high-speed accident on Shaw Avenue near Millbrook Avenue early Monday.
 
According to Fresno police, the fatal crash that involved three vehicles happened around 1:00 a.m.
 
In the investigation, police learned that 18-year-old Andres Ramirez Orozco was driving a Volkswagen at a high rate of speed with a Toyota Camry. As both cars approached Millbrook Avenue, a third vehicle, coming from the south side, drove in front of them. As a result, both drivers swerved, but collided with each other, sending Orozco’s car slamming into a tree and the Camry to a stop near 9th Street.
 
Due to his serious injuries, Orozco died shortly after. Meanwhile, the Camry driver cooperated with the police in the investigation.
 
As for the third driver who reportedly fled the scene, police hope to connect with that driver to gain more insight into this crash.
