17-Year-Old Dies in Santa Rosa Head-On Accident on Fulton Road

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (April 19, 2021) — A 17-year-old died in a head-on accident on Fulton Road near Guerneville Road Friday morning.
 
According to police, the two-car crash happened around 7:25 a.m. For unknown reasons, a teen driving a Toyota 4Runner SUV northbound on Fulton Road crossed into the opposing lane of traffic. Traveling at about 50 mph in a 45-mph zone, the Toyota collided head-on with a flatbed truck in the southbound lanes.
 
As a result of the crash, the Santa Rosa teen died shortly after, which the Santa Rosa Fire Department had confirmed at the scene. His name has been withheld due to his age.
 
As for the flatbed truck driver, he avoided harm and was able to call authorities after the crash.
