Child Hurt in Bicycle Crash at Lone Tree Way in Brentwood

 
BRENTWOOD, CA (October 6, 2023) — A 12-year-old suffered major injuries in a bicycle accident at Lone Tree Way and O’Hara Avenue.
 
According to Brentwood Police, the bicycle crash happened around 5:35 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a 12-year-old on a bike. As a result, the child suffered a major head injury.
 
Not long after, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District arrived and coordinated with other units to call a helicopter to airlift the patient out of the crash site.
