NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (October 6, 2023) — A skateboarder hit by a car on Don Julio Boulevard and Larry Way suffered an injury.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the skateboarding accident happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver heading eastbound on Don Julio Boulevard struck a skateboarder heading eastbound on Larry Way.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded to find the unconscious victim. From there, medics transported the patient to a hospital for further treatment.
 
At this time, traffic investigators do not know what led to the crash, but an investigation should disclose more information. If anyone can help traffic investigators, please call the CHP.
