Rider Hospitalized after Pacific Beach Motorcycle Accident near Balboa Avenue and Garnet Avenue

 
PACIFIC BEACH, CA (July 20, 2021) – A rider sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident on Balboa Avenue, Wednesday evening.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened on July 14, at about 8:45 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a motorcycle became involved in a crash near the area of Balboa Avenue and Garnet Avenue.
 
Emergency crews transported the rider to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Authorities did not release the name of the victim.
 
San Diego police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
